Overview:
Our client is seeking 4 experienced Team Leaders to supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities for substation projects. The role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and timelines.
Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader in electrical infrastructure construction
• Valid driver’s license
• Legal Liability certification
• Excavation Supervisor
• HIRA
• First Aid Level 1
• IRCON Construction Regulations
• Firefighting
• Working at Heights (US229998)
• Fall Arrest & Rescue (US229995)
• First Aid Level 2 (advantageous)
• Pole Climbing (advantageous)
• Stringing Equipment Operation (advantageous)
• Hydraulic Crimping (advantageous)
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve installation and maintenance standards
• Ensure minimal rework and adherence to specifications
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
• Promote environmental awareness on-site
• Apply strong technical knowledge and problem-solving
• Interpret drawings and specifications
• Improve execution methods continuously
• Follow company policies and client requirements
• Execute instructions from Construction Supervisor
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home
• Deliver work within deadlines
• Optimize use of resources and skills
