Vacancy: Construction Manager (SACPCMP)

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of powerline construction projects.
- Manage on-site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and productivity.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and report on project status.
- Resolve technical, operational, and logistical issues during construction.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, permits, and reports.
- Ensure environmental compliance and implement risk management measures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Eng (Electrical / Civil / Powerline Engineering) or equivalent.
- SACPCMP Professional Registration (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng preferred).
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in powerline or infrastructure construction.
- Proven experience managing construction teams and projects.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
