Data Engineer – Data Management

  • CA Data Management of central sector and entire organisation and their guidelines
  • Systems Management – scVENUS and Ansible
  • Ansible Tower, playbook design and deployment
  • Public Cloud such as Azure and AWS
  • Knowledge of Directory Access Manager (DIVA)
  • LINUX Redhat / Ubuntu Operating systems
  • Intelligent Storage Orchestration Environment (iStore)
  • Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket/GitHub

  • Consult users how to store the CA data and permanent data archives as well as run reports
  • Assign CA roles to folders (Unix only)
  • Create and assign ADGR roles to folders (Windows only)
  • Create CA data structure as per guidelines
  • Rearrange CA data structure as per project and/or business unit guidelines and configure using Autofs (Unix) and DFS (Windows)
  • Perform housekeeping/monitoring/manage NAS using central applications iStore and DIVA taking security aspects in consideration
  • Manage security vulnerabilities
  • Identify and, upon request, delete obsolete CA data using web application CA Cleanup Tool (Unix only)
  • Backup and restore CA data
  • Operate and maintain CA Cleanup Tool, casr, resmon and ca-its (e. g. cloud migration)
  • Operate and maintain scripts (e. g. deletion)
  • Storage technologies emc2 and NetApp
  • Redhat RHCSA 7,8,9, SLES CLA 12/15, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), Redhat , Windows and LDAP/AD server administration.
  • Active Directory Gruppentool (ADGR)
  • Strong understanding of network information services (NIS) mappings and configuration management for automount NFS and CIFS protocols.
  • Experience with repository management tools such as Nexus and Artifactory.
  • Knowledge of Distributed File System (DFS) and Active Directory (AD).
  • Proficient in automation with Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Familiarity with codebase management tools such as GitHub / Github Actions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working Knowledge of Linux Automounter (AutoFS)
  • Setup and configuration of NFSv3,4 Server and Client (exports)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Linux Administration (SLES,RHEL)
  • ITIL certification
  • Any Linux/Cloud Server certifications
  • Experience in a multi-platform environment. (Windows, Linux)
  • Advanced knowledge of network information services (NIS), DFS, and NFS/CIFS configurations.
  • Expertise in managing LDAP/IDM servers and automount configurations
