Overview:
Our client is seeking 4 Erectors to perform the assembly, installation, adjustment, and repair of transmission and distribution substation infrastructure. The role requires a strong focus on quality workmanship and compliance with health and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in substation or related electrical construction work
· Grade 12
Additional Qualifications (advantageous):
· Working at Heights & Rescue
· First Aid Level 1 & 2
· Fire Fighting
· Pole Climbing
· Stringing Equipment Operation
· Hydraulic Crimping
· Manlift Operation
· Rigging
· Brazing
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain high standards of installation and maintenance
· Ensure minimal rework and adherence to specifications
· Comply with all health & safety regulations
· Promote environmental compliance on-site
· Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving
· Contribute to improved execution methods
· Follow company policies and procedures
· Execute instructions from the Construction Supervisor
· Deliver work within deadlines
· Optimize use of resources and skills
