Be medically fit with a valid medical certificate of fitness
Additional Qualifications:
N6 qualification with a valid vocational trade test
Minimum Work Experience
At least three years’ experience as a construction supervisor in electrical infrastructure construction
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Execute daily construction work as per instructions;
Complete weekly time sheets;
Complete DSTI daily prior to work commencing;
Complete site diaries daily;
Petty cash weekly;
Weekly observation (SOC’s);
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL
▪ Site security;
▪ Management of vehicles, plant, tools and equipment;
▪ Arrange, expedite and follow up of material procurement and delivery;
3. QUALITY ASSURANCE
▪ Assist in identifying root cause of deviations;
▪ Monitoring of quality assurance and quality control;
4. RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
Supervision of staff;
Responsible for work allocation and execution;
Time management;
Ensuring legal site compliance;
Training and mentoring;
Effective application of project resources;
Ongoing effort to improve supervision and better team performance;
