We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual to join our client’s team in the Rustenburg/Mooinooi region.
This role is a hybrid of external sales, relationship marketing, and operational site management. The ideal candidate understands the “Plant Hire” industry and is comfortable navigating both boardrooms and active mining sites.
Candidate Requirements:
• Must be currently residing in the Rustenburg or Mooinooi area.
• Solid experience in Mining and Plant Hire.
• Must be familiar with the types of heavy machinery used on mines.
• A pre-existing database of contacts within local mines (Procurement, Site Managers, etc).
• A strong self-image with exceptional people skills. You must be able to market yourself and the company professionally.
• Must be well presented.
• A valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Business Development: Actively market our equipment fleet to mines and contractors to secure new hire contracts.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with key decision-makers and site managers.
• Site & Fleet Operations: Manage on-site operations, including the oversight of machines, monitoring equipment hours, and coordinating with operators.
• Database Management: Utilize and expand a contact database within the mining sector to drive business growth.
