Our client, a leading electrical infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee site activities, ensure execution discipline, and drive safe, quality-driven delivery of construction projects.
Minimum Requirements:
* N6 qualification with valid trade test
* Legal Liability, Excavation Supervisor, HIRA, First Aid Level 1
* IRCON / Construction Regulations certification
* Fall Arrest & Working at Heights (US229998 / US229995)
* Valid driver’s license
* Medically fit with valid certificate
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical infrastructure construction supervision
Advantageous:
* Experience in high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects
* Exposure to substations, transmission lines, or construction utilities projects
* Strong site leadership and workforce supervision experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise site construction teams (linesmen, erectors, operators, flagmen, general workers)
* Ensure daily execution of construction activities as per plan
* Monitor productivity, quality, and safety compliance
* Ensure correct use and control of plant, tools, and equipment
* Manage site documentation (diaries, timesheets, permits, DSTIs, SOCs)
* Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Support quality control and identify deviations and root causes
* Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and controlled effectively
* Allocate tasks and supervise workforce performance
* Provide training, mentoring, and on-site guidance
* Maintain site security and resource control
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards
Knowledge Required:
* Electrical infrastructure construction methods
* OHS Act and environmental legislation
* Plant, tools, and site equipment management
* Construction quality assurance processes
