Our client, a leading construction and infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Site Logistics and Facilities Supervisor to manage tools, plant, equipment, and site facilities, ensuring full operational efficiency, compliance, and availability of resources on site.
Minimum Requirements:
* N3 Mechanical / Electrical or Millwright qualification
* Supervisory course or relevant post-matric qualification advantageous
* Minimum 1 year experience in tools, equipment, or asset control
* Strong Microsoft Excel and general MS Office proficiency
* Valid driver’s license
* Experience in stock control, asset management, or site logistics
* Basic mechanical and electrical understanding
Advantageous:
* Experience in construction or infrastructure site environments
* Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems
* Experience with plant, equipment, and fleet management systems
* Knowledge of site accommodation and facilities management
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor daily plant availability and equipment status
* Manage breakdown assessments and coordinate repairs (internal or external)
* Conduct inspections and ensure preventative maintenance
* Maintain generator checks, fueling, and operational readiness
* Investigate equipment failures and root causes
* Receive, issue, and track tools and equipment
* Conduct monthly stock takes and asset reconciliation
* Maintain accurate asset registers and stock records
* Control yard stock, small tools, and plant equipment
* Oversee site offices, accommodation, lighting, security, and utilities
* Manage cleaning staff, consumables, waste, and pest control
* Conduct regular inspections of laydown and accommodation areas
* Report and coordinate repairs for plumbing, fencing, electrical, and facility issues
* Ensure compliance with HSE and site safety standards
* Compile daily, weekly, and monthly plant and usage reports
* Manage fuel/diesel reconciliations and usage tracking
* Process timesheets, petty cash, PTWOs, and HR/IR returns
* Manage subcontractor compliance and site support services
* Support accommodation leasing, allocation, and inspections
* Assist with procurement of site consumables and requisitions
Knowledge Required:
* Stock control and asset management principles
* Basic mechanical and electrical systems
* Construction site logistics and plant management
* ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 systems
* Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting tools
