Purpose of the Role
To safely and efficiently operate a JCB Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) on active construction sites, supporting excavation, loading, trenching, and general earthworks activities in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a JCB TLB (backhoe loader) for excavation, trenching, loading, and site preparation
Perform digging, backfilling, and material handling tasks
Load, move, and spread materials such as soil, gravel, and rubble
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
Report faults, defects, or maintenance issues immediately
Ensure safe operation of machinery in compliance with site HSE rules
Assist with general site duties when required
Follow instructions from site supervisor or foreman
Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions around equipment
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years proven experience operating a JCB TLB (essential)
Physically fit and able to work
Strong safety awareness and responsible machine operation
